Shannon Slaughter

Shannon Slaughter

Attorney Slaughter’s practice is concentrated on civil matters across a broad range of the law, including condominium litigation, beach rights claims, municipal land use matters, contract disputes, and in appellate advocacy. She has handled a number of appeals, including arguing in the Appeals Court on behalf of the prevailing party in Washington West Condominium Association v. Hisham Ashkouri et al. (2016). She has served as a lecturer for the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers since 2012.

Attorney Slaughter obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, where she was a member of the championship field hockey team. Attorney Slaughter obtained her Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Ms. Slaughter served as an investigator at Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and as a Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services.

Attorney Slaughter is admitted to the Massachusetts bar, the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
